Galleri Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test
The Galleri test is a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) blood test designed to identify signals associated with more than 50 types of cancer. It analyzes DNA methylation patterns—biological markers that can differ between cancer types—to detect potential cancer signals in asymptomatic individuals.
The test is intended for adults at increased risk of cancer, including those age 50 and older, and is available by prescription only.
Galleri testing is offered through VirtuHealthMD for a total fee of $950, which includes physician ordering, clinical review, and follow-up consultation to discuss results and next steps.
