i've heard its around 1.6 g per kg of body weight to achieve max muscle building if you want to be jacked up with giant muscles so for a 195lb man like myself that would be 195lb divided by 2.2 = 88 kg multiplied by 1.6 g protein = 140 g protein daily to achieve max muscle gain if trying to be a body builder that is.. protein estimated goal or requirement would be alot different though for average sedentary man which would be 56 g daily, . 46 grams per day for the average sedentary woman.
